Minister's draft regulation on Quality Assurance Measures: For public review
The ministry has released for public review and comment the draft regulation on Quality Assurance Measures for application entities and service agencies that provide services and supports to adults with a developmental disability.
This regulation supports the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008.

In 2008, the government passed the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008. It received Royal Assent on October 8, 2008. When it is fully in place, the new Act will replace the Developmental Services Act.
For many years now, Ontario has been changing the way it delivers services and supports for people with a developmental disability. We want to have a system in which adults with a developmental disability and their families can have more choice and control over their lives.
