You can help us enforce your support order or domestic contract. Here's how:

  • When you are completing the forms in the registration package, provide as much information as possible. We use this information to enforce and maintain your support order or domestic contract.

  • Tell us if there are any changes to your name, address or telephone number. We need to be able to reach you to discuss your case and help you get your support payments.

  • Tell us if you have any new information about the person who is paying your support (the support payor), such as a new name, address, telephone number or job.

  • If you believe that the support obligation has ended, you must inform us as soon as possible.

  • When you receive a letter from us requesting that you confirm or deny that support has ended, it is important that you respond. If you do not, we may not be able to enforce your support order.

  • We need to know if the support payor has used or is using a different name from the one on the support order. This includes nicknames, aliases or different spellings. If we don't have this information, we may not be able to enforce your support order.

  • When you call us, make sure you have your Family Responsibility Office case number with you.

  • For up-to-date information about your case, use our automated information line. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The number to call is 1-800-267-7263. You'll need your case number and PIN number to access your information.
